Episode 41.5 - Howl's Movie Castle - Love Turniphead
This week we watched the Studio Ghibli version of Howl's Moving Castle. Does it make any more sense than the book? What's Batman doing here?
One thing that we did not mention in the episode is that finding copies of Howl’s Moving Castle is actually super hard. We were lucky enough to be able to get it from our local libraries, but as far as we can tell there are no legal streaming options online. Netflix and the like do not have it. But you can buy a physical copy on Amazon.
However, you CAN watch Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland legally on Youtube because the distributor’s Youtube Channel has it uploaded. I, of course, went through the comments and it’s remarkable how many people said something along the lines of “No one remembers this movie and I was starting to think I dreamed it up.”
